Our cake smash photography sessions in Dallas are designed to be all-inclusive and effortless. Do You Provide The Cake & Outfit?
For safety and dietary reasons, parents provide the cake and baby’s outfit. We recommend something simple from places like Whole Foods or Target. Outfit guidance is always provided to help you achieve a clean, timeless look.
Can I Choose a Theme For My Baby’s Cake Smash?
Yes! I specialize in minimal and whimsical setups, with a custom 3D backdrop included in your collection. A wide variety of 3D themes are available to complement your vision. Each design maintains a refined, neutral aesthetic that keeps the focus beautifully on your baby, with fully customized themes available for an additional fee. What Happens After My Session?
Within one week, you’ll receive a private proofing gallery to select your favorite images. Each chosen portrait is carefully hand-edited with refined skin work and color correction for a polished, natural finish. Final high-resolution images are delivered within 22 days via digital download. Need a few images sooner? Just let me know—I’m happy to prioritize 2–3 images within a few days.
Where Do Cake Smash Sessions Take Place?

How long does a cake smash session take?
Sessions typically last 45–60 minutes, allowing time for family portraits, baby portraits, and the cake smash portion. If your baby needs a little extra time to settle, the session may extend slightly to ensure a relaxed, comfortable experience.
How do I book my session? What is the retainer?
Once your date and theme are finalized, you’ll receive your contract and invoice. A non-refundable $125 retainer secures your session and is applied toward your total. Your investment includes creative direction, styling, professional retouching, and a high-resolution digital gallery. The remaining balance is due the day of your session. A 8.25% Texas sales tax applies.
