1) How Does The Booking Process For a Maternity, Newborn or Cake Smash Dallas Photography Session With You, Work?

Our booking process is seamless and hassle free. You select the collection that include the said number of files and you pay the listed price. The collection price includes time, talent, session design, editing of your images. As well, as the rendering of high resolution digital gallery. Gallery is available for digital download. The photos are yours to share, print, treasure and adore for years to come.

Once you’re ready to make the booking process official, I will put together your contract along with your PayPal invoice link for the non-refundable retainer fee of $35. Retainer is applied to the total amount due and the remaining balance can be paid the day before your scheduled session. All collections are subjected to a 8.25% Texas State Sales Tax. Payments can be made via PayPal or Zelle Quick Pay.

2) Why Do You Only Deliver the Said Amount of Digitals & Not More, For The Listed Amount Of Time?

Dallas Maternity, Newborn and Cake Smash Photography is not like your traditional types of photography. There is a very delicate nature that is involved in working with expecting mothers and babies. It takes a great deal of time and effort to artistically pose and perfect these types of photography sessions. Something that is very important, and quite crucial in creating works of art. Yes, you might have seen other photographers provide more images. However, I would rather take my time producing images of clean, crisp, fine-art maternity and lovely photos of my clients looking radiant, happy and wonderfully posed, than having 100's of images where clients don't look comfortable at all.

The said number of files is always the median range of every session. I don’t take more to purposely up-sell you. If anything, depending how well the session is going, I might take a few more and include them at no additional extra charge.

However, please note with studio maternity photos and the amount of posing processing each individual files requires, each additional edited file is priced at $65, per file.

3) Who Has The Rights To The Images?

Lily Hayes Photography, retains copyright ownership of all the images produced, is protected under USC Title 17 (US Copyright Law). This means, as your maternity, newborn and cake smash photographer, I have the right to showcase your stunning images to potential clients.

By going through the booking process, you have solely acquired reproduction rights (full print release), granting you the ability to print and publicly share the images provided to you.

4) Do I Have Permission To Print The Photos? Can I Use Them On My Social Media Platforms?

Yes, you do! When you book a maternity, newborn or cake smash photography session with Lily Hayes Photography, you get more than just amazing photographs. The entire booking process and collection total includes full print release and exclusive usage rights, giving you the freedom to print and display your images for generations.

However, I do ask that clients to refrain from printing at low-quality printers like Wal-Mart, Target, CVS, or Shutterfly. These printers don't do your beautiful photographs any justice and will not accurately convey the exceptional quality of your images.

5) Will I Receive “HIGH” Resolution Photos?

Many professional photographers often offer digital files as a part of their collections. However, it's important to note, not all photographers provide high-resolution files. Some may only offer digital files, with up to an 8x10 resolution. Meaning, if you ever want to print a 11x14 the quality of the print will be tarnished because of the limited resolution of the file. In such cases, if a client ever chooses to print larger photo than a 8x10 with that digital file, the client will have to invest in significant funds into ordering a larger print from that photographer, only.

With Lily Hayes Photography, high-resolution edited files are included in your collection total. These high resolution files are capable of printing up to a 30x40, without any loss of quality anything below 30x40.

6) Do You Watermark Your Photos?

No, I do not and over the years, I have had the opportunity to work with hundreds of clients who have become an integral part of my clientele. Interestingly, a significant portion of my clientele has been built through word-of-mouth referrals, which speaks volumes about the quality of my work, exceptional service and the positive experiences of many of my clients.

7) Can I Have The Unedited Files?

Raw images, NEF files, are not accessible to clients. Raw, NEF files, representing the purest form of the image, undergo a meticulous and careful post processing journey. This intricate transformation process aims to enhance and refine the images, ensuring a polished and captivating finished product.

8) Are You Insured?

Yes, I am adequately covered and protected with both, professional and liability insurance.
